Utopia of the Seas — My Quick Review

I just got back from a weekend sailing on Royal Caribbean’s brand-new Utopia of the Seas… and wow — this ship knows how to have a good time!

From the moment you step onboard, the spaces are stunning. Every neighborhood feels fresh, exciting, and full of life. And when I say there’s plenty to do — I mean it. This is a fast-paced ship with activities for both adults and kids at every turn.

Some of my favorite experiences?

• FlowRider Surf Simulator – always a thrill!

• Aqua 80 Too Show – high-energy, nostalgic, and so much fun.

Now, if you’re picturing a calm, family-focused pool deck… that wasn’t our experience on this weekend sailing. The pool areas had more of a party atmosphere — music pumping, DJ, a lively crowd, and high energy from morning to night.

We also squeezed in some fun zip lining over Perfect Day at CocoCay — but that’s a story for another time (and another email!).

Bottom line? If you’re looking for a gorgeous new ship with endless entertainment and don’t mind an upbeat vibe — Utopia of the Seas could be your perfect getaway.
